In my previous post, I wrote about how to use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) to create tutorial videos with Web Cam and voice overlays. In this post I’ll tell you how to get a trendy circular overlay for your Web Cam stream.
Let’s go!
On OBS, right click on your Web Cam source in the sources panel and select ‘Filters’:

Then in the Filters window click the ‘+’ button and select ‘Image Mask/Blend’:

Next provide a friendly name for the Image Mask:

From the ‘Type’ drop-down, select ‘Alpha Mask (Alpha Channel):

Now, we need to provide a circular mask to OBS. This can be found here – OBS image mask download. The zip file consists of two png images.
Next, click on the ‘Browse’ button and select the black coloured circle image:

As soon as you select that image you’ll see the that Web Cam stream is now circular!
